Description

This time I've tried something different. I've used Astropixelprocessor to stack my images and I've ended up with 3 final FITS :

1 - Ha filter

2 - Extract Ha from Triband

3 - Extract Oii from Triband

After cropping and removing light pollution on each file, I've moved on to Pixinsight.

In Pixinsight I've followed the same steps on each file before combining them:

- DBE

- ez Decon

- ez Denoise

- MaskedStretch

I've set the files as:

Ha = Ha

Extract Ha = Sii

Extract Oiii = Oiii

and used a formula from "thecoldestnights.com" to combine them:

Sii/Ha/Oiii :

R = (Oiii^~Oiii)*Sii + ~(Oiii^~Oiii)*Ha

G = ((Oiii*Ha)^~(Oiii*Ha))*Ha + ~((Oiii*Ha)^~(Oiii*Ha))*Oiii

B = Oiii

I've ended up with minor tweaks and a run of ez StarReduction with Adam's method.
